        The International Ballet Summer Camp, which will be held for the third time this year, is preparing to provide an unforgettable experience for ballet enthusiasts in Bodrum, Ortakent.

Our ballet summer camp event, which will take place in two different periods between June 18, 2018 - June 29, 2018 / August 27, 2018 - September 07, 2018, will provide you with the opportunity to work with professional instructors in the field and will also allow you to have a pleasant holiday at Bodrum - Ortakent - Light House Hotel.

Program

08:00–09:00 Warm-Up (Group A + B)

10:00–11:30 Classical Ballet Class (Group A)
10:00–11:30 Modern Dance Class (Group B)
11:45–13:15 Classical Ballet Class (Group B)
11:45–13:15 Modern Dance Class (Group A)
13:30–14:30 Lunch
14:30–17:00 Free Time
17:00–17:30 Pointe Class (Group A)
17:45–18:45 Modern Repertoire (Group B)
17:45–18:45 Ballet Repertoire (Group A)
19:00–20:00 Modern Repertoire (Group A)
19:00–20:00 Ballet Repertoire (Group B)
20:00–21:00 Dinner

The class order of Groups A and B will change daily. On the fifth day of classes, a Pas de Deux class will be held.

One of this year’s innovations of the Ballet Summer Camp is the Project Program, which offers students the opportunity to create their own projects and choreographies. Within this program, participants will develop their own choreographies by benefiting from the experience of professional choreographers and instructors. In addition, Classical Ballet classes will be accompanied by live music.

Total of 11 nights, all-inclusive

Our camp is open to all ballet students studying at private ballet schools or conservatories.
Students aged 9 and above are accepted.

Based on the evaluation of our professional instructors, participants will be divided into two groups.
Camp capacity is limited to a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 40 students.

Participants are required to stay with their own age group.
Parents are not allowed at the hotel.
Our organization has no affiliation with any private or state ballet schools.

During free time, participants aged 9–15 must be accompanied by organization staff at all times.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR REGISTRATION

  • Registration Form

  • Photocopy of National ID Card / Passport

  • 2 Passport-size Photographs

  • Medical Report

  • Travel Insurance (for students participating from abroad)

  • Parent/Guardian Agreement

  • Certificate, diploma, report card, or a reference letter from a ballet instructor indicating ballet level

  • A ballet video recording with a maximum duration of 10 minutes

All registration forms and the documents listed above must be sent to our institution by post. Our institution is not responsible for delays caused by postal services.

Once our invitation letter confirming acceptance is delivered to you, the registration process must be completed by making the reservation payment to our institution via bank transfer or credit card.

Students participating in the Ballet Summer Camp 2018 are required to purchase the ballet leotards selected by our organization from Mayo Store.
